Hi Guys

Not sure if anyone has had the same problem but recently I upgraded the firmware on my Scarlet X Mysterium to 6.0.31 and once upgraded and powered on, I am getting picture, timecode, clip number and a 2.39:1 frame guide but no menu's are displayed. I followed the upgrade procedures correctly and had no powerdown during the upgrade process.

Any thoughts on troubleshooting?

Had this happen to my Epic Dragon. Seemed to be related to my mount firmware, because my Nikon mount would allow the menus and the PL mount would leave the screen stuck like yours. Eventually I downgraded to the lowest possible firmware in v5, and then upgraded with each incremental update back up to v6. This eventually set the firmware correct in my PL mount and displayed the menu system.

I had exactly the same problem with BOTH my Scarlet X and Epic X cameras. Eventually I found that in both cases without my sidehandles, both cameras would boot up to the menu stage and once I put back the side handles the boot up would stop just shy of the menu stage and stop at the same stage as yours David. When I spoke with opened a case and spoke with Red, I was told to send both handles back even when I tried to insist that it was impossible for BOTH handles and BOTH cameras to develop exactly the same fault right after a camera upgrade. My impression being that it was something to do with the upgrade firmware rather than the camera or sidehandle hardware. Currently I have had to send both sidehandles and my scarlet(an unrelated problem) back to Red, all received yesterday and awaiting feed back from Red on the status of the equipment.

It's very annoying, but every time I upgrade firmware, HD-SDI out only shows the picture, and not the menu, no matter what buttons you press. You have to plug in HDMI to the camera, to then reset the menu settings to set HD-SDI as the primary out, and enable the menu again. I have a process where I have to unplug my Blu-Ray player from my TV, and use my TV to do this.

Hope that's the issue for you guys.
