Hey Guys!
Over a year and a half ago we started pre-production on a short film called Megiddo. We didn't even know what camera were were going to shoot on or who was going to be in it, but we pushed through it anyway. We planned everything out and we started shooting in January (2013). We planned everything the wrong way and we ended up with a film that didn't make a lot of sense. We had some night scenes that looked terrible. Story had a lot of elements that didn't fit together. We had a ton of VFX that amounted to nothing except that it looked cool. We shot about 9 days off and on mainly on weekends had almost a terabyte of data. We spent months editing, working on VFX, and trying to find someone who would do audio work...
In October, we were still unsatisfied with the film. We began stripping out the parts we didn't like and coming up with sort of a "best of" film. We wanted to make sure we had a story that would make sense (at least more than the original), so we wrote a new script that combined elements that were shot earlier in the year with some new things we would shoot.
This is what we came up with.

We completely messed up night scenes before so we made sure to have a ton of light. I also shot using the 4K WS option so I could lower the compression just a bit. We are now a little bit happier with what came to be.
Let me know what you think and what you might have done differently. The full film comes out on the 18th and I'll post it here then. Thanks guys!
