R1-M-X 4.5k ISO 800

Click on the grab for 2k motion.. you need the ProRes LT codec.

Wow, from the still, nice detail around the eyes .. the ridging on the head looks remarkably similar to a Rooster whom just walked past my gate 5 mins ago.
Nice image.

In the video you will notice I left the blacks alone... just so you guys could see whats really going on, right out of the camera... moving.

No Crushing.. no Noise Reduction.. What you see is what you get.

Jarred, I was just about to ask was the black crushed. Same question - when will the upgrade program starts? Lim

Isn't that a "Prawn" from 'District 9'...

Seriously tho' if 800 is the new 320 I'm delirious (right up there with those new Arri digital cameras)!! :hurray:

I love samples....

Will the M-X upgrade be more then just the sensor or include a new A/D converter?

Looking forward to seeing more....

nother dude from Red zoo. Can't wait to play it in 2K

The noise has a nice texture to it.

well, I noticed that texture when zoomed in on the turtle grab.. canvas texture.. that's really amazing..
things are really going to change a lot more than they are now..

sometimes I feel like todays cameras are too sensitive to light that one can't use wide open lens without ND filters..

great image Jarred, also it seems that you're a reptiles fan..

BOOOOOM!

It´s hard think about the wait until my upgrade path. Congrats everybody at Red!
