Gorgeous female Norops sagrei... with a regenerated tail, but beautiful still. She appears gravid, too (eggs clearly visible in her lower abdomen)! Look around and I'm sure you'll find a male nearby!... most likely displaying his red dewlap in front of females in his territory (or other intruding males)!

Fantastic image.

Cheers,

Ok. This video is fake. That lizard is CGI. Look at the lighting... I call conspiracy

Very nice.

You should put your logo on there.

How was it graded?

Thank you! I exposed the scene in such a way that I could get max contrast later in post (this is the hard part). In RedCine I boosted the contrast to 100%, added 2.3 saturation, on the gamma curve I pressed in the blacks at the bottom. That was all that was done to the footage. I will go ahead and add my logo. I'm so happy you guys like it.

Thanks for the information. When I first recorded her the image was very shaky. I thought of using Shake to stabilize it but then I looked at my still picture tripod and said that will work. Ran outside an hour later and she was still there. I was very happy to get so up close. Was about 14 inches from her.

Looked very good. Nice and sharp. Loved the colors.

Thank you! Because of all your kind comments now I will be camping out in the backyard hunting for wildlife... :-).

Already I'm controversial :-). The lighting is what I like most about this footage.

That would be a great ad for that tripod. :P Looks like a plastic head on that thing.

I was thinking of using the Oconnor 2575c on the baby legs... but the fluid head adds too much height and not to mention heavy as hell. In the future will use the battery belt clip with the still photo tripods.

very very very cool. Post up more!

Thanks Jon!

I have that same Manfrotto/Bogen video head and I'm surprised that you can use it with Red One, it doesn't feel that sturdy but if it works that's cool :)

I wouldn't advise using it as a main tripod... especially for anything that requires more than a +- 30 degree tilt. I just needed to get low to the ground with a light tripod and it did the job. The panning with this tripod is awesome too. I can see carrying it as a part of my kit. In the future I will use a battery belt clip to reduce the weight even more.
