Hey guys quick question, so I have several vintage Hasselblad lenses that have the built in shutter in theme. Is it possible to repurpose these lenses for cinema cameras?

Yes, via Hasselblad to EOS adapters. The older Hassys with a shutter are just a pain because you have to "open" the shutter, and it's not always easy to adjust the aperture.

The F/FE series are easier to deal with, as they have no shutter at all, and have a much more convenient iris ring.

Ah got it thank you. Is there any advantages shooting with the older model lenses vs the F/FE series?

Not that I can tell. Some of the older Hassy's have really old coatings, if you're into that. The chrome ones are single coated I believe. In general I find them a pain to deal with. F/FE are the way to go. We have a full modded set, work great. Like Contax primes, except with massive image circles you can tilt shift with. A little softer wide open.

We used them here:

Intermixed tilted Hassys, with Contax primes, and Standard Primes. And a Smoque filter.
