I remember Media 100 from way back. I haven't used it in nearly ten years though. What does the new Media 100 do that sets it apart from other NLE?

Hi Liam,
In General, Media100 Suite is a lightweight, easy to use, fast, Mac NLE. If you've used it before, you'll find our interface very familiar.
We've kept the application very "open". Media100 works with a large number of widely used Quicktime codecs, 3rd party capture cards and we DO import XML files from Final Cut Pro 7. Gone are the days of the proprietary codec and hardware.
For RED camera users, we can open your REDcode files natively, no transcoding involved, and play the clips back in realtime on the most basic of Mac systems. We also include a realtime Metadata editor with similar controls to REDCINE.
Maybe the best of all is that we are currently offering a special price of $595.00US through the end of September.
