Media Tagging and Searching

[John Snelson]

Does anybody know of a good software to be able to tag clips? For instance, when we film a football game, we may have two or three Reds and GH4s -- Is there a software where I can tag clips with 'Touchdown' or player name or anything so I can go back easily and find those clips later? Would make my life so much easier.

DaVinci Resolve has keywords and smart bins. So you make a smart bin for Touchdown and then when you give a clip the keyword "Touchdown" it will automatically show up in that bin.

So basically as the season goes on, I would keep adding footage each week to a single Resolve project then export timelines out of that project to new projects when creating different videos? Could I export a timeline straight to Premiere?

I'm just trying to think for instance - In week 7, I need to make a video of Touchdowns from our quarterback. What would you recommend?
