OK, I have my entire 87 minute film in a single Pr 5.5 project file that has 60+ links to comps in an associated Ae file. Everything was working fine until this morning when I opened up Pr and the media files failed to load. I cleared out the cache files and have gone through various troubleshooting steps and found that by renaming the Ae project file (thereby unlinking it from the Pr project) everything loads fine.
I've been working in Ae for the past few days so I tried rolling it back to a previous version - no luck. I tried importing everything into a new Ae project, no luck.
Is there a log file that can tell me what linked comp Pr is choking on? Telling me what has just loaded is a bit useless, I need to know what is actually loading when the process freezes up.
