I was looking at the store page of Red and noticed that there was a 2.5" SSD for the Red Station. My question is since this unit is available is there going to be a 2.5" module for the Epic/Scarlet? I understand that the 1.8" SSD module will be available but the 2.5" module would be better for me. If the 2.5" module won't be available then what will the 2.5" Red Station be used for? :confused1:

From what I gather, the 2.5" SSD Module for the RED Station is designed for regular 2.5" laptop PC SSDs, and I don't think there will be a module for the Scarlet. There would be no point at all in offering both 1.8" and 2.5" module options for the Scarlet.

I think it will also take 2.5 inch HDD's as well as solid state...in the stack that is.

That's my point exactly. If there is no point in offering both 1.8" and 2.5" module options for the Epic/Scarlet then there is no real need in doing it for the Red Station. Personally I would like the option of the 2.5" for Epic/Scarlet as well. I have 4 32GB 2.5" SSD drives from my previous computer build. I can use them for external storage drives but these would be ideal for Scarlet.
