Media Komodo X: 512 GB working well?

Hello

RED doesn't list a lot of approved Type B media for the Komodo X. I thought about getting two Prograde Gold Type 4 512GB with a sustained speed of 850 MB/s. Anybody successfully using this one or similar 512GB media?

Have you already bought these? How are your experiences? As far as I know you may get a warning about unapproved media. Does this happen with these as well? In anyway I would advice for 1 TB giving you more time to roll.

I bought two Lexar Gold 4.0 512 GB, very annoying RED doesnt let you turn off the media warning, especially since these cards are way fast enough. Having too watch it each and every time…ugh.

Haven’t extensively tested, but seem to work fine. I bought two 512 because having two cards and saving money, maybe I add a 1TB in the future

I’ve tested the ProGrade Gold 512GB (Type B) cards with the Komodo X, and they actually work quite well for most recording modes. You can shoot in 6K and 4K HQ without dropped frames, though I’d still recommend formatting in-camera before each use.
