This is a quick & dirty version.
Sound/music is stolen, no color, no final cut, but I wanted to share it.
We have made it for the Red day that happened on the 8 of April in Montreal.
I'll post the making-of and some pictures soon.
I may have to cut the link to it soon so my server doesn't choke, sorry

This clip is dedicated to Jim and all the people who believe in him. (edit)

During the day I am just a normal guy:)

Love the table shot

Love the table shot

I love the table shot near the beginning where the camera is looking past the raw meat (blurred focus) to the woman's head laying on the table (big eyes). Very original perspective, haunting...

thx for sharing

OK, the revised version is being uploaded.
It's not final, but it's getting there.
Music/sound will be done next week. Edit and color needs tweaking.
As I said it was done as a camera test material for our Red Day; All impro on set.
We used one 500 Watts tungsten and one small broken Kino with mixed tubes, ohh and a flash light.
We shot it with two Reds with help of few friends in one short day.
The footage is intercut with both PL and Zf(nikon) zeiss glass.
I'll have a small making of and some pictures on my site in couple of days.
I love this camera!

ENJOY THE REAL RAW FROM RED

Some music from Profondo Rosso/Deep Red would suit this clip nicely.

i liked it....really marylin manson/ david lynch on crack like...
beautiful dark shots.

but the shots with the worms doesnt seem to fit exactly colorwise.
Music is too monoton at the moment.

thats all my pov...

Budget: $350 (always proud to make it for less)
Props: Salvation Army
For the key light we have used one 500W tungsten in the soft box, that was suspended on top of the table.
For the fill we have used one small 4 banks (broken) kino (daylight).
We also had a small ($100) portable dish with 55W of power, which I love to use "hand-held" and a portable flashlight.
In general really low light situation.
We had also mixed the tungsten with the day light, Red is extremely forgiving at times:) skin tones turned out just fine.
The camera was set to 500 ISO

Originally we were supposed to do only beauty shots with one girl and oranges, but when I saw a friend of my wife (Laurence-the Doll) who accidently came on set, I've decided to change the plan and we got some more accesories from a local Salvation Army outlet and shot a little story.
The shooting started at 12.30 pm and we had a rap around 5pm.
Blood was made from sugar syrup combined with the red and green colorant
Everybody had a good time:)
I am attaching few photos taken with hv20.

thanks for the comments and encouragement.

You're right about the worms, I completely forgot to grade it, it's done now.
Still need to work on the music...
Thanks
