Hi all

I am having a hell of a time trying to get my MC 3.13 MXF picture files to link to the scratch (in camera) audio. The picture links up just fine. I am using RedCineX and transcoding to dnX36 mxf files. The transcode spits out a corresponding amount of .aaf files with the same name struture as the picture files. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.

thanks

Ernest

Are you importing the AAF files after you copy the MXF files to the Avid MediaFiles folder?

I've done it both way's. The first time I tried it, yes I copied the MXF files into my unity partition, then went onto the AAF's. The second time I imported the AAF's into a bin first, which brought the metadata with them, then copied the MXF files. They still did not link.

Thanks

Sorry back on with an official name. I realized that the aaf files are only 120kb and uniform in size.

Do the AAF files have audio tracks in them when imported into the bin? Also, it may be a Unity path issue. Can you do a quick test on local storage?
