  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Maui, Hawaii - My First Run With 8k

This looks nice on a retina MacBook Pro! Awesome work too! Thanks for sharing this!

Very nice!!!!! I saw you used Sigma 18-35, Milvus 50 and 85 and Canon 70-200. I'm about to buy a longer lens for my Raven! I already have the Sigma, any suggestion? AH ;) What do you use more? 50, 85? Thanks!!

Thanks! Sigma 18-35 is my go to. Milvus 85mm is of the most beautiful lenses I've used but I definitely use the 50mm focal length more, especially on the Raven which is slightly more cropped than S35. I already knew the Canon 70-200 was insanely sharp but after seeing 8k footage from it I was blown away. Worth every penny.

I see what you did there Logan, with your post title. '-)

OBTW, nice marriage of music to scene changes. Good edit.

Thank you this is very useful! :) I'm about to buy a Sigma 50-100 and then build a Milvus set step by step ah! Have a good one!

Nice transitions and editing. You did a solid job! Nature also did a good job of giving you plenty of beauty to capture. ;)

The Canon 70-200 2.8L zoom is one of my all time favorite lenses on REDs. Can't think of a better IQ per dollar piece of glass. For certain types of narrative work, and when you need lots of focus pulls, there are much better options - for just about everything else...

Cheers - #19
