Marshall 7'' HD-SDI monitor

Any ideas on how well/not-well this monitor would work on a Red One?

It works fine. You wont see the menus over HDSDI.
The panel and features are fine. What I really miss is an aperture/peaking dial.
The back of the housing is plastic. While light it is a bit fragile.

So a Red monitor or Red EVF is required for full functionality? Is the histogram visible over HD-SDI?

Is the histogram visible over HD-SDI?

Nope.

The Small HD one is incredibly badass... and has HDMI with HD-SDI.

Jarred will this hold true for the 8.9" DP1x?

This is what we got while awaiting an other 7" RED PRO LCD

You can see menus on the Small HD - Badass = confirmed.

Just checked out their website. Says the DP1x is discontinued. Anyone know why? That seemed like a really cool monitor.
