Manfrotto Nitrotech N8 or Sachtler ACE XL

Hi guys, I would love to get some advice on a new tripod head. Manfrotto Nitrotech N8 or Sachtler ACE XL? I need something small and lightweight for traveling, but still a good enough to get work done. Did anyone worked with those heads?

Hi Andre,

To my knowledge the Nitrotech is not available at present. Manfrotto had to recall them due to a possible safety issue.

Oh, thanks for the info! I saw it in stock a few weeks ago, but you are right, now it is unavailable everywhere I checked. Will order the ACE XL, it is more lightweight and compact anyway, plus I found out it can be used on a flat base and half bowl without adapters.

Sachtler pls. Anything Manfrotto comes up with IMHO is not really usable.

Just got the new ACE XL, great head. Compact and lightweight, handles my Scarlet-W just like that. Pretty happy so far.
