Recently theatrically released in the UK, 'Blue Moon Rising' a feature documentary on MCFC and it's supporters.

We shot over the period of the 2009/2010 football season with many of the matches shot on 3 cameras at 100fps. We accumulated over 38TB of rushes and had an interesting time in post. The results are very interesting and my only regret is that I didn't have MX at the beginning of the project as it would have make lens choice very much easier.

Have a look here:

Hah! Looking forward to Blackpool's continued rise up the table.... but nice work Michael.

Funny you should say that, because I too am a Liverpool fan and regularly go to Anfield as a supporter, it was the highlight of the year to stand in the City tunnel right in front of Stevie G and Jamie before kick off! I had a chat to Mascherano in the tunnel after the game.

Stuart, are you a Blackpool fan? I have a meeting with Owen Oyston next week, watch this space!

Did you tell him he's a traitor :) Been nothing but dire straits since Xabi and Mascherano left :(

No, Norwich actually; but it's great to see a "small" club beat up on the "big" ones...

Maybe we'll play in Europe again one day, but I doubt it; money has distorted the ability to compete. Just like baseball.

Good to see that they are wearing Norwich scarves at Man U in protest to the US owners.

Hopefully the recent moves by FIFA that demand a club to be in profit in order to enter European Competition from 2013 season will put a downward trend on the cult of celebrity and the 'buy a trophy' mentality. The german Bundesleague model of sustainability and low ticket prices encouraging local support was working before this world cup showcased the talents of what was thought to be an average German national side. The EPL is showing definite signs of a downward turn. MCFC was a special case as was Chelsea, as they were both bought as vanity projects and have had the debt absorbed by the owners.

More interesting is the case of both Man U and Liverpool. Man Utd are mortgaged to the hilt and may have to sell their own facilities to remain solvent, they are currently running at a loss that equals the servicing of the Glazer's overdraft, currently about £80m per year. Liverpool were put on the market at £800m and have been reduced to a fire sale price of £300m with the current owners frozen out of the deal on no profit and challenging the chairman they appointed in the high court over the sale!

Of course and as you know Norwich are also a vanity club albeit on a much smaller scale. Come on Delia speak up!
