  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Man all you people do is cry and complain about the company and how slow things are going. just be happy that we as independent film makers can afford the camera. No it's not an epic but we are now ahead of the game and you know as well as I do when you get the camera and after your test it will sit in a case for a couple of month's.

Your next cry will be the dragon sensor if we can afford that and they want you to mail the camera back to them for the upgrade. That will also take some time.
 
I think you are totally right Vino. But also, I can't help but think you just joined the forum. And some people including myself has been here since the announcement of the Scarlet. The waiting is not just from when it was ordered, but from when you first heard of it and started to safe up for it. But we also have to remember that Red is doing their very best to serve us, so complaining about the waiting will do no good.

Please speak for yourself. If that's what you are thinking - why buying the camera in the first place. Mine will hardly see the case. Not only I have had almost $20K sitting in the RED account for over 3 months, but right now I am loosing at least $1000,- every week as I have to keep renting for the jobs I have lined up...

And no - I am not complaining (I do understand what RED is going through) - but at the same time I don't appreciate generalized and mostly sarcastic comments like the one you have just made...
