  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Man Handle camera handle And first impressions of Red

Thanks for the pix. Be sure to let us know if you decide to sell your handy handle. Sure could have used one today.

Tell y'all what. If I get interest in say 5-10, I'll get them made. Doing a run of that few is going to be pricey.

I don't have time to do them my self, but I'll talk to a few machinist friends and see what I can do.

Send me a PM if you are interested.

Nick

What would be the ballpark price?

Hi,

Timely post. I just bought a computer for my CNC mill set up yesterday and I'm waiting for it to show up in the mail. Once I get the thing figured out I'll make a few and post them here. I'll have to see how long it takes me to make them. I value my time at around $100 an hour, so price will be set on that.

Cheers,

Nick

Hi,

Same mill I have had for a few years, It's a modified Sherline 2000. I also Have a chinese mill for grunt work. I have single axis cnc boxes on the x and y, so I don't have to turn wheels, but they are stand alone units and don't speak g-code.

Since as far as I know, nobody makes CNC drivers for mac, I had to buy a PC laptop to run my cad/cam and driver programs.

Sherline makes top notch stuff right here in the USA. The only limit of the machine is size. But fortunately for me camera aks are not very big ;-)

Cheers,

Nick
