I have this beautiful 645 Mamiya Macro A 1:4 f=120mm lens and was wondering if it could (easely) rebuild to PL mount, or is there a adapter?

let me know,
thanks Robert

Mamiya 645 has 63.30mm FFD, so a simple mechanical mount adapter should be possible.

Les Bosher in Wales has made good custom adapters for me. Also check with Duclos Lenses, Optitek or Focus Optics, all present on this forum.

The easiest way is to get a spare extension tube, and with the help of a machinist Join it with a PL mount at the correct flange focal distance. This way you can mount most medium format lenses to PL. Actual photographic results may vary.

Can you guys suggest any good superwide 645 lenses ie. 28mm or 35mm. I have seen some Contax and mamiya 35s and I think a mamiya 28mm. Just wondering how good the various versions are and where might be the best bang for the buck. I'm sure the Zeiss contax 645 are very good as I have a fair amount of experience with the 35mm contax/yashica lenses but I really don't know much about the medium format stuff and thought I'd ask for some input.

application would be for underwater with epic 645
