As I said , my first initial thought was that it's the most mature film to come out of America in years. When each individual absorbs something of that level they are going to compute & wrestle with their own thoughts/feelings on this piece of work, differently.

Me, I was immersed from 1st frame til last frame. But that's just me. If someone didn't call it how they saw it just to appease some crowd or whatever, they'd be robbing themselves.

Everything gets booed at Cannes, it's just the nature of the audience. I wouldn't think too much of it.

I'd even think that was a good indicator indeed!
