Hey Chris, I would have helped in this cause had I been a little closer to you. I hope for a speedy recovery for Alex too.

Hope he feels better soon so he can experience this! I am in New York so I can't make it but I would gladly ship my Epic to you if you have somebody willing to shoot that doesn't have an Epic.

I hope Alex will be better soon. To have wonderful moments like this event will certainly help him to get better. So, I hope things improve for him.

Based on my own history (e.g., my wife had lung-cancer, †2002, the ups and downs can come very fast.) I certainly like to help Alex, even if it is just that little -- with some nice images, to keep the mood up.

Keep us updated.

Yes my offer is to ship my EPIC is still on the table please let me know when you have a date and get well Alex we need to be the best Robin!!!!

Looks like Alex is slowly getting his counts back up. New tentative wish date is Monday September 30th barring no more complications.

Hi Chris,

If my schedule, (due to other possible conflicts, not likely), stays clear, (should know by early Sept.), I can loan out ; three Area 48 lights, plus accessories, for two of them, and my Nomad 12 + Ktek boom, Senn 50 & 60, Rycotes and possibly 2 cos 11's, on TRX900LA's. Also have; Bright Tangerine Strummer kit4, with 100mm adapter, 138 Round POLA and Schneider IRND 0.3-1.2, BM 1.8 Horiz 0.6 Grad, if that is of particular and certain use. Let me know.

Thank you very much

Fury

Can't wait to DIT this for Alex ! Do we need AD / Dir type guys or PA's or anything?

Chris, has the media been made aware of this? This is one of those great feel good stories that should get some publicity...your call of course, but I know a couple people at OC Register and OC Weekly that would love to cover this once they find out, which they have not as of yet, at least by me :)

The PD is handling the media announcements/releases. Alex still doesn't know, so everyone is wanting him to be surprised as the day unfolds.

I will have a small (like 2-3 person) BTS crew there as well.

It's so great to see this RED community going out of their way to help out and help me in telling Alex's story. Come on OC/LA...more camera ops! :-)
