Hi guys,
forgive me my English please.
I would like to consult with you for any cases about my plan to exchange the plug on the power adapter of a RED Scarlet MX.
According to the specifications of both cameras and the power adapter I have here, both cameras require the same amount of power and the adapter delivers what these both need.
So, I think that would work.
My questions is more related to the plug. The plug for the Scarlet is smaller, for R1 it´s bigger. I found something like a map or a plan of both plugs and what each pin is used for. (Attached to the thread. The picture without any plug drawing is from the R1 )
The plug at the Scarlet power adapter misses 2 pins for "serial battery bus clock". The plug for the R1 has these pins, but! That plug is from a battery plate for using V-lock batteries on it.
So, maybe for the use of a power adapter I even don´t need the "serial battery bus clock"?
I plan to leave the 2 pins on the R1 plug empty, but curious what you think of it?
Appreciate any advice.
Best wishes
Dima
