Hello
I just noticed something for the first time. My scarlet dragon is showing a general magenta tint on the image when using a wide open lens. When I'm closing the lens it's getting greener and greener. Is it something well known for lenses? Is it Dragon related? Is it my camera?
Thanx

First thought that comes to mind is white balance. Have you done an "auto white balance"? If you have done this and it added in a tint, when using the color temp slider, that tint remains.

Next thought is filter related. Are you using any filters in front of the lens?

3rd thought is Black shading, have you done a black shade recently?

4th thought is OLPF, do you have the option for an "interchangeable OLPF" and if so, do you have the proper one installed for the internal settings?

Last thought is without .r3d stills it is a bit of grasping at straws. Sure we can mention a few things that it could be. However with a .r3d still posted (2x in your case, 1x open showing magenta, 1x closed down showing green) we are then able to look at meta data see what state your camera is in, and start to get a better idea of what it is that your seeing and having an issue with.

found that out myself. check this video. you can see it fluctuating

Lenses shift color themselves when using different apertures, it's not necessarily camera related. If you've got a DSLR handy test on that and see what you find. My Zeiss ZE 50mm 1.4 is also noticeably cooler / more magenta wide open.

Illumas do this too – warm/cold depending on aperture.
