In addition to Rand and Steve's advice, there is two things you could potentially do in-camera while shooting:
1. Depending on the lens you're using, stepping down the aperture might get rid of those aberrations.
2. Focus on where they're coming from, and they'll likely disappear at the cost of your shot being out of focus now.

#2 isn't really much of an option, but more so an observation of where chromatic aberrations come from.
They tend to happen while shooting wide open (or close to), but at the cost of a little depth of field you can get rid of them, depending on the lens, completely.
IPP2 definitely helps minimize them when they've already been captured though.

Thank you! I thought I had read that IPP2 is not compatible with RAVEN. Am I mistaken about that?

Michael,

Not "In Camera" but you can use it with Red Cinema cameras in whatever "Post processing" pipeline you prefer (Adobe Preimeire, Avid, Final Cut X...etc), even with footage from the Red One.

For Red Cinema Cameras with "In-Camera" IPP2 Capablities (Monstro, Helium and Gemini)

For Scarlet-W and Raven...etc

As Rand mentioned, you can switch to IPP2 after the fact. Thankfully it’s finallt supported fully in most of the major editing applications now.

Just Incase you didn’t understand where chromatic aberration comes from... it comes from the quality of your lens and how it handles intensely bright sources. Expensive lenses typically are crafted to fight CA and lessen it, but cheaper lenses like the Rokinon sets just inherently have it. Most of us have seen this before, it’s definitely not a camera issue.

I do know that I’m addition to IPP2, there are a set of CA lessening LUTs that Graeme has around somewhere. Might be able to share these.
