Magenta artifacts in shadows of Red Dragon 6k Export

Hello! A friend of mine is editing together a video that was shot on the Dragon and when he exported from premiere it he got some weird magenta artifacts in the shadows of some of the shots. He did both a H.264 and a ProRes export and got the same issue.

I'm wondering if anyone has seen something like this before?

I think that if he were do go through Davinci it might not happen, but regardless, it seems pretty odd.

I haven't seen this particular problem, but I have seen colored artifacts from several cameras in underexposed situations. For that, we just do a very careful black desat (usually for me with a soft key), and keep a very close eye on it to make sure it's not affecting any other part of the image. This even happens with film in some conditions.
