  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Love the footy, I'm just interested in why it's letterboxed....

Because he exported a 1280x720 clip which is 16:9, and RED only shoots 2:1 right now (4096x2048). 16:9 recording is coming soon...

I know MacGregor will be uber-successful as a director because he never smiles. :-) (and he probably doesn't use smilies either)

That's Zac, mate ... Although, they both dig nudity and funny beards. Go figure.

MacGregor and JDS together are bound to make some of the best stuff ever shot on the Red camera.. I deeply respect both of there talents, and they both have taken cameras to the next level multiple times.

Well, here it comes, our first RED1 footage. There is not much correction, and it was done in my laptop,so probably it is darker for all you than what i see.

you should respect.. we all should respect who posts real footage with no problems at all..

Looking very beautiful, can't wait to see it. :)

Hey Macgregor....that looks great! I wish I would have known you were out on the Salt Flats and I would have come out and given you some nice cold water! Anyway, could you shed some light on your lighting setup? I'm curious at what you had inside the car vs. outside the car. All in all, the shot looks pretty great! Can't wait to see the wide of the car driving by.
