Does anyone have experience in editing on Mac (in Premier/AfterEffects), using plugins like RedGiant and BorisFX Sapphire or any other?
And do you experience any kind of issues?

I'm currently editing RED footage in Premier/AFE, on a windows desktop computer.

I'm having some issues with previewing and rendering my videos when adding multiple effects (or even just 1).

If i have multiple clips stacked on each other on my timeline, like some RED footage, warp stabilizer, maybe a noise remover, one or two overlays, a grading layer, a conversion log/rec709 layer, a LUT layer and a effect/plugin or two - i have to render every layer separately, and stack them on top of each other. And this process can take hours and hours.

It seems like i can't really upgrade any hardware on my PC to make this better - i have asked some hardware specialist about this.

The problem is either the Adobe software, the RedGiant and BorisFX plugins, or the fact that it's a windows system?

So my question is has anyone tried editing on both windows and mac if so, which system have caused the least issues for you?

Thank you very much for taking your time.

Soup to nuts with both platforms.
Can you send your system specs?
What's your workflow?
I am assuming RED since your here :)

I have extensive experience with Premiere/FCPX/MC on both platforms so again it's soup to nuts.
