$1700 OBO
Mac Pro 2009 tower, 2 x 2.93 Quad core Intel Xeon
16GB 1066MHZ DDR3 RAM
4TB HDD, 1 TB + 3 TB 7200 RPM
ATI Radeon HD 5870 1024 MB
Running OSX 10.9.1
USB 3.0 PCI Card
eSata PCI Card
With current graphics card transcodes Alexa 4444 - 422 Proxy at 30ishFPS, Red 5k 1/2 good debayer at little less than real time if I recall. I'd recommend upgrading the graphics card if transcode speeds are important.
Scores 17000 on geekbench - https://browser.primatelabs.com/mac-benchmarks. Only 3000 less than 6 core trash can.
