  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Mac OS 10.9.5

They're great but suggest buying a spare disk or two at the time of purchase. My oldest one had two drive failures (HGST NON-enterprise) at almost the same time. Since the unit was a few years old at that point, it was impossible to get drives running the same firmware. I ended up having to send the whole lot of them back to HGST to get flashed as I didn't have a compatible motherboard for the firmware utility they have. Shut it down for like a month. This applies to just about any RAID though. I'm leaning toward RAAID6 in light of this event from now on.

We've been having a litany of issues with 10.9.x and CC not to mention the dreaded second monitor problem (it's dark on one of our workstations and no fixes including kext update have helped).
Thank you,

Thank you,

10.9.5 actually fixed the multimonitor issues I had been experiencing since the start of mavericks. I guess the takeaway would be "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"
