  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

So I want to apply a generic film LUT to my Redlog files whilst grading in Color. I'm running a BM decklink via HDLink (old version not pro) so I have the ability to load up a 1D LUT.

I've searched everywhere to try and get one that is either a)loadable by the HDLink, or b) loadable by Color

I'm not a post house and I don't have the money to justify paying loads to have one made. It's really just to help me previs and get me in the ballpark area before finishing elsewhere.

Any tips for sites that may have free downloads (I've tried those on the digitalpraxis site but none work with either color or my HDlink).

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

Well, it's not a film targeted LUT, but my installation of Color includes a directory called BaseLUTs, which contains a log to lin conversion LUT called log_95_685.mga. It's under Contents/Resources, and should be accessible by choosing File->Import->Display LUT.
