Sorry for not seeing this thread sooner.
The Luma Check is a very useful tool and we sold out the first batch we received in December. The second batch which we will receive, for which we have many orders will have an improvement added- an adjustable collimator block.
In February we will have many photos and detailed info. It's incredible that we have so many orders based on what we showed so far, including its debut in Miami in early December.
With the Luma Check you can check and adjust the back focus on a RED in less than 5 minutes.
Please stand by for the new photos and info in about two weeks.

Yes! Some more information would be great, and maybe you can ask one of your customers for a small review?! I thought about ordering one in December, but decided not to, due to the fact that there was no information about how it works.

I am also interested in getting a collimator. I would also like to see some sort of review, or any feedback, from a customer who has actually used it on a red/phantom etc.
There are several collimators in the market right now. I would love to see them compared side by side by a neutral party. (Perhaps a lens/camera tech from a major equiptment house with no affiliations to any manufacturer.)
I would definately use the review to help make a decision on the purchase.

Luma Tech will be receiving its revised model of its Luma Check next week and customers who have been waiting will begin to receive them.
(The revision: a small adjustable collimator block)
We intend to hold an open house in LA shortly to show the Luma Check as well as the new Super 35mm Illuminas.
We ask everyone to have a little more patience. We feel our products are very much worth waiting for and our pricing as well.
In the meantime feel free to contact Mr. Egon Stephan of Cine Video Tech in Miami for his opinion of the Luma Check.
