I'm getting the feeling that slow motion is going to be the new shallow depth of field...

I don't know if it will ever happen, but I look forward to everyone pretty much having the same tools so that certain technical capabilities are not limited to a certain group based on financial means and thus...preserve the mystic of some feature that in reality, is just another stylistic option.

We're getting there. We've all got large sensors if we want them. We're going to have phantom-esque slow motion sooner or later. I don't know if 3D is actually going to take off in anything but cinema distribution...but yeah, interesting. Love how this stuff is all trickling down.

If the new 5d shoots 120fps there's a good chance you're gonna be right. Which makes me want 120fps in a camera even less.
