"Lourdes" Feature Film

Hi !

Wanted to let you al know, that we actualy started shooting here in France. We are on the 4th day and everything works perfect. Camera runs like a Switzerland Clock...
We are going to shoot now 8 more weeks. It is amazing to do a so big production with the RED. A big experience for us all which involved...
Only one Red Drive got broken when it felt on the ground from the magliner.... but that was our fault... every thing else is running perfect. In Austria we say we knocking three times on wood.... that should help a little bit at this holy place here. It is a little bit like freakshow but ok....

rainer, can you tell us a little about this film? Is it a drama or a documentary? The Lourdes story has always fascinated me since my Mom made me watch the old Jennifer Jones film "Song of Bernadette" many years ago.

I see you have a sachtler tripod, how is the balance with that kind of a load?

Elizabeth, I will tell you details if I have the rights to do it... sorry

Phaz, we use a 9+9 Sachtler Head and it takes the load good. Normaly we use the heavy O'Connor with this setup, but this head is really ok....
