  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Sent me the adapter with a big hairline crack in it. Then I send it to letus for evaluation and they say it was dropped and then he tells me I did it and I am on my own and I should have bought shipping insurance. What a stand up guy you are John. We could have resolved this nicely.:head_explode:

Thats funny Steve. According to Letus it is completely busted with both of the major parts needing to be replaced for over $700 of damage. It was dropped for sure. The one I sent to you was in perfect condition as the pictures, video and my tech Ben all state.

Ivan G your absolutely right in your implication that you can determine someone's honesty and integrity by the number of post they have made to a public forum. Fortunately for me one of RedUsers oldest users came by to look at the Letus the day before I sent it out and made a offer to buy it about 1 hour after Steve did. I hope I can get him to comment here about how it was in perfect condition when he looked at it.

When I told Steve that a few local people wanted to buy it but that his offer to purchase was first he thanked me for my honesty in a PM to me that I will always cherish.

I did manage to sell about a $75k worth of stuff to other RedUsers with no problems and I guess it's worth pointing out that I did ask Steve to include an additional $50 for 2 day shipping and insurance and in a PM to me he refused and asked me to ship it out as cheap as possible, which I did.

I should have known this was going to be a problem when Steve started calling me to complain before he even got the Letus. I remember being on the phone with him when his UPS guy walked in and dropped it off and he said "it's here" and just hung up on me.

Hopefully, Steve, I will run into you at NAB and we can catch up.

Ivan G how many post do I need before I can be considered legit? And do post like "Red Rocks!" and "I love Jim! You go Red!" count toward legitimacy?

Well, I didn't drop the thing and I never called and complained to you until when I received the Letus and then about a month after I received the item and was still holding my calm. You thought it was gonna cost $ 80 to fix and then you were all OK with it. Anyway, Letus just needed to be in touch with you and you never talked with them. I got it fixed for $ 100 so how bad was it. Something could have happened in shipping. It would be nice if you reimburse at least 1/2 of that. I never remembered that you offered me insurance on shipping. If it is in an email that you sent me and I didn't see it, then my mistake. I never had a problem with you until the bad news at the end where you just dissapeared all of a sudden. If you would have been a little more helpful, I sure we could have resolved this nicely.
