  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Lots of problems with RED ROCKET!

This is not looking good for me. RocketCine-X and RedCine-X have begun to not recognize the card anymore and give an error message. According to system profiler the card is installed and the driver is installed. Considering the problem went from bad to worse I am afraid this is a hardware issue.

I am on the set and seriously need to make dailies... What do I do? We have two MX cameras and otherwise I need software that supports 8 cores.

might just have to go with old school red rushes and do low debayer lower res dailies... it's not as pretty but it gets the job done, and it's a multi core solution.

That's the thing: Red Rushes or Clipfinder give really strange colors when rendering MX files and RedCine-X is too slow. Maybe tonight when the new Redline and RedCine-X V2 comes out...
