today i have lost signal on top pogo on my Epic W

Gear involved: 7" Carbon fiber Red LCD and Bomb OLED, A and B adapters (2 sets). 2 cables
it was a setup like every other day, i have build up the camera with LCD and EVF , power it up and i had no video signal on top. Bomb OLED was plugged in the top initially when this happen (usually i plug it on left side) . color chart in EVF was permanently on and after i have unplugged it it went dark.

i have tried and tested all the equipment involved:
1) all the A and B adapters work normally on left side,
2) all the cables work normally on the left side
3) Evf works on the left side
4) LCD works on left side...

nothing works on the top. since then i have tried:
6) detached a battery and let it to "forget"
7) reset camera
8) rediscover hardware with LCD directly attached on a top via Pogo
9) revert to factory setting... and finally
10) re installed the same 7.4.1 that i was running before...
basically i have tried everything i could... no luck at all. i see that on startup there is some electricity that comes to the monitor as it changes the black. but that is it. I hope that this is some software issue. please advice

after one more firmware re installment. there is an improvement but still no image. Now side buttons on EVF and on Monitor work, but still no image. However when EVF is attached on Boot-up here is color checker image randomly adjusting.... i will post video later

Hi Luka,

Did you do your checks via battery power?
When troubleshooting, better use the AC power adapter and power the camera via DC IN port.

Did you check the top pogo (monitor) without EVF attached or both mounted at the same time?

Did you leave all accessories mounted on the brain during your hard restore procedure?
(see RED Support's procedure)

Here are some other LCD issues I found on RED Support that may help:

Known Issue ID: 16392
Issue Summary: When an LCD is attached to the Primary EVF/LCD Port (on top of the camera) on a RED RANGER camera, the camera may show the following error message: "Error 0x7".
Target Firmware Fix: Investigating
Workaround: When the camera is off, remove the LCD. Then turn on the camera, and reattach the LCD. When available, contact RED Support to send your camera in for service.
==========================================
Issue Summary:
The RED Touch 5.0" LCD may not initialize properly on startup. This causes the monitor to display one of the following: 1) all white, 2) half white and half black, 3) half white and half vertical grey stripes.
Workaround:
Set the monitor frequency to 30 Hz or hot plug the monitor.

As you can see, it's not for your camera/monitor combo, but they basically say "hot plug the monitor" to solve this problem.
At your own risk.

Hope this helps. Good Luck!
