  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

LOOM - ONLINE

Just a general FYI.

When we do these films with RED (LOOM, Tattoo) we intentionally do not use NR, as a means of showcasing the camera's ability.

I assumed so. When I was watching it I swore out loud at some of the low-light stuff, because it was such an impressive showcase of what the camera can do.

Havent seen Loom yet, pls fix the link, thanks guys.

This is very inspiring work! Leads me to hope for Ridley Scott to pass potential Prometheus sequels on to his son and the fresh touch he is bringing to the table. I've watched it half a dozen times in the last year and it has had strong influences on the set design for my first short shot a couple months ago. Hopefully this will be developed into something bigger though I sadly doubt it.

Absolutely love the backlighting!

cheers for this!

My thoughts too. To be real honest, I don't think Ridley is really the best choice for the upcoming Blade Runner sequel, I think he lost touch with what made both Alien and Blade Runner great. Too many kings and power stories, too blockbuster-isch for it's own good.

With Loom, my opinion is that Luke is proving himself to surpass his father, I would much rather see him do Blade Runner 2.

Yeah, LOOM really send me some BR feels. I would totally watch Blade Runner 2 (or whatever it's called) directed by Luke Scott. Should also note Dariusz Wolski's cinematography, wow.

Is it possible to download a 3D version of this, would be nice to see how the 3D look.

There was never a 4K version posted online. RED posted an H264 file that was 1728x720 pixels. But it was very clean though :)

Doesn't really help for those of us who wanted to see the one in 4k =( Also youtube is way over-compressed crap.
