this coming saturday is the big army navy game in DC. it will be the final act of our documentary film 'a game of honor' that we are shooting for CBS/Showtime. i was hoping i could get a Canon mount in time but that isn't looking likely and i've noticed some on the board mentioning they would be willing to rent. for shooting football i'de love to get a 100-400 Canon or the 800mm on there for some crazy slow motion. we have 9 cameras at the game - 8 are DSLRS - so this epic is for all of our wides and slomo. if i have no luck with the mount then the RED 17-85 would be a good second option for more versatility in the end zone.

the game is this saturday in DC. i can have it shipped back monday am. since i don't have much of a track record here, here is our website

stillmotion.ca

and the trailer for the film

Hey Patrick, I rented a canon mount from emery at katabatic who is also here on reduser. Cool people over there and accommodating. They're around 27th and 7th. Should give them a call.

Good luck!

I don't know Patrick personally but I've been a fan for a while, if anybody wants to rent their gear to him I know you'll get it back in the same condition you gave it to him in. He's a stand up guy.

PS Patrick, you're doing a lot of great things lately, just don't give up weddings just yet... still really want you to do mine as soon as my girlfriend graduates grad school. ;)

thanks for the support guys. i replied to all PMs and sent some emails. hopefully an option in NY works out :)
