jibs
jibs
I used a 7 recently, it worked very well. We also used a jimmy jib which is comical with its old-school wiring harnesses but worked really well. We also just used a Kessler jib and I have a complaint about how it works - because of the way its camera plate is linked to the motion of the tripod head it works very well if the camera is pointing the same direction as the crane (e.g. the lens is parallel to the crane) but if you turn the camera so the lens is perpendicular to the crane's travel the camera will yaw as you move the jib.
By the way, Kessler's cine motion stuff which is launching tomorrow looks seriously cool.
