  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Looking to convert OCT19 to PL

Try Focus Optics in Burbank. In the same building as Band Pro. Talk to Stuart. They make the Ruby lens.

Duclos guys do awesome work, but last I talked with them they weren't working on Lomos anymore. Covered up in their other products I suppose. Stuart is cranking out his Rubys but still has time for OCT19 and Lomos.
Best,
lael

Mr. Sergey Kravchenko for sure!

Sergey can probably do it and he is reliable. Not Duclos by any means, but very good for the money.

Dima is fine, I think he is the same guy that does them for SPBsale http://www.spbsale.com/

Viktor (SPBsale) has done......3 square front anamorphics, 4 lomo speeds, 4 k-35s, and I bought 7 pl mounts for my lomo standards from him. If you have lomo standards from a kinor 35 studio package, you can just buy the mounts and bolt them on. It's explained on his web site.

working with Sergey.
i have a 22mm lens which is more challenging to convert, basically a custom machine job vs standard pl bolt-ons which could be done on tighter lenses.

I'm surprised that US lens machinists are taking on simpler jobs and are always overbooked. wondering if just a standard metal precision machine shop (non optics) would do it.

Part of the deal is you have to disassemble the lens partially, and machine elements of the lens housing, so it's not just a mechanical job. Which 22 are you referring to the 22mm anamorphic?

Nick

You're lucky to have the 22mm Squarefront anamorphic :wink5: but I know it is a struggle to remount it - Sergey's had experience with a 22mm recently.

There are 2 versions of the 22mm ana. Which one is yours?
