Hello,
I own and shoot RED. and am constantly being asked by productions where they can get footage transcoded to ProresHQ fast and affordably in LA.

If there is anyone here with a RedRocket Card, that know how to transcode properly in 1/2 or full debayer. and make it all into a pretty little ProrezHQ files that can be colored later or created for offline editorial that would be great.

no, i dont do post, and no i dont need to buy a Rocket.

LA area is a must...

thanks

Ernesto - We are in LA on the West Side and can offer RED transcoding to Pro Res HQ for $75/hr if you have at least 2 hours run time. We also output your edited project from Pro Res HQ either 422 and now 444 to HDCAM SR.

Thank you all.
I can't help but feel there should be a directory(sticky ) of transcoding services in our area,.
As we all know most post houses don't have a proper offline/online R3D workflow.

Thank you all.
