  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

this is my situation. I am trying to backup data in the field but due to the size of my data wrangling set up (it all fits currently within a pelican 1495 case) I cannot fit a raided drive in my set up. Another issue I am trying to solve is that if something gets deleted off of a raid 1, it is erased from both drives.

Windows backup and time machine are not options because they create archive style folders that don't allow you to access the files without decompression.

I have heard of a software that basically works as follows but forget the name

1. whatever is added to one drive is automatically copied to a second drive
2. if something is deleted from drive one it is not deleted from drive 2 unless actually go into that drive and delete it.
3. both drives have files listed and accessible, no archive folders

Does anyone know of software like this?
