Looking for On-Camera LCD - recommendations?

The TVLogic is a wonderful monitor. Super sharp. Unfortnately, I sold mine after I realized I couldn't get the menu's to show up. As a single owner/operator I don't need/want two monitors hanging off the camera and have to worry about another battery system.

Dropped my whole rig (strap broke) in Antofagasta day 2 of a 2 month shoot and it fell 4 ft onto rock with the weight of the camera and shoulder rig behind it, landing on the corner of my SmallHD DP6 and its still going strong ....sure it had a slight colour shift on one corner for a few days but its now back to normal

Consistently shot from pre dawn to night with the same 2 canon batteries onboard. Ill go through 4 camera batteries and 6 memory cards in that time but nice to never have to think about changing monitor batts.

I *still* want a monitor app & hardware for my iPad...

if you want a slightly larger monitor, in the 8"-10" range, what's recommended? IIRC SmallHD no longer make the DP1x...

The new 5.5" TV Logic is really slick, I may have to replace my 7" super sharp, light and even has a little waveform monitor...

I'm loving my SmallHD DP6 on my 7D, and Can't wait to use it on my Scarlet. But I am tempted to still get the 5" RED pro screen just for the touchscreen capapbilites, and still use the DP6 as a director's screen or something else since I am usually the camera operator and would want access to the focus features of the touchscreen

have you considered ikan's VX7e or VX9 monitor if you were needing an 8-10 inch on-camera monitor?
