Looking for Empty RED bodies or Damaged REDs

Hey guys. I want to R&D potential Carbon Fiber and other Lightweight Composite accessories for the recent RED cameras. In order to do that, I would have to do lots of Dismantling and pouring of mold making materials on an actual RED to get a base to create those carbon parts. Doing this to a working camera or convincing a RED user to lend me a unit to open up is just too much to bare on both parties.

I would like to know where I can get ahold of empty RED bodies or Internally damage RED cams that are impossible to repair. Some outer damage is okay as I can repair dents and chipped parts before molding the parts.

Er... Would it not be better to just talk to RED and get all the specifics you need?

If you have CAD you can grab all the specs from RED and build the part on the computer. I think it's going to be hard to find a broken RED which is why I suggest this route.

Are you creating accessories that attach to the camera or are you creating a housing that goes in place of the current housing.

Or you can do like Wooden Camera started out by doing and build a wooden camera to specs to build on.
