Hi everyone!

I am looking for Ambient Recording ACL-202CT Lockit Timecode Generator. B&H has it in store (with free shipping), but it is listed as "accepting orders" with scheduled arrival at B&H within 7-14 days.

I need one by Friday the 22nd August (coming friday) here in Mexico. Considering it can take 2-3 days just from the US / Canada - B&H is not an option...

I don't mind second-hand unit in working order...

Also - if You do happen to know a local shop that stocks is - I could send You money to get it for me, including any transportation (to buy it for me) and DHL/FEDEX (fastest delivery option to Mexico) expenses...

Please e-mail / PM me or just respond here...

Thank You very much for Your time...

Peter

A little question about the lockit timecode generator. Do you need 2 lockit box: one box on the Red and another one on the audio recorder or you just need one that you feed a TC from the audio recorder and after that you let it on the Red ?

thanks

DigitalFX:
Thanks, but I can't call 800 number from Mexico - my mobile won't let me...
Could You please give him a quick call and ask for a "normal" landline number I can reach him on?

Etienne:
I am not sure - I don't need it for syncing with Audio. I need to to sync two Red One's for stereo (3D) applications. From what I have heard I need only one device and connect the two camera via T-BNC splitter. If anyone wants to "chink-in" I would much appreciate it...

Yes, you should be able to connect it with T-splitter. And just make sure the DIP switches are set correctly.

Hi Evin - I have just ordered the Lockit from them, but since I am in Mexico they have asked me for reference in the US. I have provided a business reference in LA and also mentioned that You have recommended them to me. I just wanted You to know in case they call You (but my other business reference should be more then enough)...

Thanks again for the help...

Cheers

Peter

Yes You can, but Time-Code is one thing and Genlock another. Genlock will synchronize the shutter (i.e. both cameras will expose the frame at the exact same time - crucial for stereo), while time-code will help me align the two camera's files in case I don't press the record button on both at the exact same time... :)
