Looking for advise...

So I missed the Oct 31 deadline, if only I had of known! errrr! Ok, now I have a line on a used Red camera. My question is should I transfer the ownership over to me ($1250) or leave it in the original owners name. If I leave it in the original owners name, I get the upgrade path to Epic at the price that everyone else has entitled to who owned a Red before Oct. 31, hence saving $8K! Tough decision....any advice??

that's pretty simple, it depends on how much you trust the original owner to work with you after the transaction closes...if you need customer service, etc., it has to be someone on whom you can rely, at least until the warranty period expires.
