Looking for a Nikon mount for a RED EPIC. Active preferred, but cool with a dumb mount too.

Anyone out there recommend the best / strongest one they've come across please? Ideally with no rear shade / aperture that's smaller than 36mm or 42mm

I find it odd that the RED one has a 24mm wide rear aperture...how does this not vignette on the 42mm wide 8K VV sensor?

Yeah... a Nikon mount seems to be a tough one to find. I think going with RED's original Nikon mount is the best idea.

But the RED one has a 24mm wide aperture at the rear so I doubt it'll cover the 42mm wide 8K VV sensor.

I use a fotodiox Nikon to ef mount and mount. Not sure about the rear shade aperture
