  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

looking for a good Insurance company for my Epic X

You never know how good any insurance is *until you have a claim*.

Listen to opinions from folks who had claims; did they pay promptly and in full? No hassle or weasel-worded excuses for not paying? No long-winded bureaucracy apparently designed to make you give up? No jacking up of premiums at next renewal?

Thus do you know a good insurance company.

Kat Wong is really good according to most redusers, i bought mine through her but haven't had to put in claims for anything.

It sounds like you have experience in the matter of bad ones. Please let us know which ones you actually like. Help a brother out.

You are joking? So a new client has a claim of 50k, the chances that ANY company will invite renewal at all are rather slim! If only they offered at double last years premium!

Thankfully no; never had a claim on pro gear insurance, touch wood.

Had an awesome experience recently with Geico on a written-off WRX STi, but they won't cover your EPIC! :D

Kat is at www.fdeanca.com, like the poster above I've gotten insurance through her but have not had to make a claim.

Actually Kat started her own company (athosinsurance.com) and her former company allowed her to take her clients with her. I have never had a claim, but she's always been super responsive to work with and her rates are fantastic.

It just occurred to me that we should be scanning the stolen red gear threads to ask users their experiences with insurance on stolen gear since that is one of the worst things that can happen.
