Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
I'm looking for a camera that can be used both for professional video production and for occasional streaming use. Has anyone here used a RED camera in both roles? How practical is it compared to other options?
Yes, RED cameras (RED Digital Cinema) are great for professional film production, but they’re not very practical for streaming.
They’re heavy, complex to set up, and need extra gear for live use.
If streaming is a regular thing, cameras like Sony FX or Blackmagic are much easier and more efficient while still giving strong cinematic quality.
