Hey guys,

I know I keep posting this kind of work requests here when I should look for a specific place dedicated
to this, but I much prefer that my cash goes to a Fellow Reduser ;)

Just finished up the New Logo for our new Studios, (thanks to Corrado for the KR contribution ) and now
looking to get it animated "NO FLASH" so to have an intro for our site and videos.

However after further consult of the logo it self and many advises, I see that we need the writing of KETCH ROSSi, to be re-done
with similar letter head and look of the KR, and that the RED Line with name should Span the entire Width of the STUDiOS writing.

Because this was a collaboration of different Artis and my self, there is no full layers of the PDF, only the KR, as the STUDiOS is al one,
and it will need to be re-done letter by letter in order to be animated, at which pint we would extract the end result in a frozen frame
for Printing, similar to what it is now, but with the Lighting effects and what ever we will end up with once the animation is finished.

For the Animation, I'm completely Open to genuine ideas, I think that the letters of STUDiOS should come together one by one,
and the Dot on the Lower Case "i" should fall on it last, this letters can come together in what ever way seems best fit for the animation.

The Red line should literally Fast Swing on top of STUDiOS in to place.

KETCH ROSSi should also swing side ways on top of the Red line, possibly form opposite direction and not as fast.

The KR should Fall form the top down with an impressive slam, considering their size and weight they represent,
possibly shaking the Crap out of everything and adjusting to place some how.

Lighting effect, can be either form Front lower Hollywood type lights.

Sounds effects and music score will also need to be tough out, still searching on that ;)

Look forward to see what we end up doing together.

Best to communicate via email: ketchrossi@ketchrossistudios.com

Hey Ketch,

I don't say this often but I really like your new Logo.
Hope you'll find a good animator...

Thanks for the kind words Stefan, trying to give our new Company a fresh and
simple yet powerful new look, also in reflection of what we specialize on... 3D ;)

Yah REALLY love the new logo and new site Ketch. Excited to see all the dreams and visions you've been discussing really coming together and looking fantastic ....

ketch, i know you won't change the logo but i'll show you a few problems:

the 2d outline of the KR is actually quite nice, unique and recognizable. don't see the need for the 3d effect.

scaled down your logo becomes unreadable:

krstudiosweb64.jpg

also now it actually only works on the screen. for printed graphics you would need to print the black square background with it. that will look odd on a white piece of paper or business card. if you want to keep the black background it needs to be slightly larger as now the logo is too much squeezed in the square.

have a look at how other film studios solved the problem. most studios have their nicely animated 3Dish screen graphics (miramax, dreamworks, universal, paramount etc), all end up with a 2D view of said font. all have 2D print versions that work without a background on paper

just a hint

Yeah the KETCH ROSSi part it is small , but not in need to be the center of attention, KR and STUDiOS are,
but agreed and as I stated on the first post the KETCH ROSSi letter font will need to be changed.

I posted this square version, but the actual one is in 2:1 ratio at 5k resolution.

Again this is something I pieced together mu=y self, I'am not a Designer, just one of those KNow it all and
good at Nothing kind of guys he he.

The logo wil have to be redone form scratch by the Artist taking the job.

Here, now I uploaded the original version.

Thanks for the comments Irmeli, much appreciated ;)

hey man, what kind of turn around do you need, and do you have any kind of general motion/effect reference?
